Catie's Closet
Despite the snowy weather predicted in Boston, the February 28, 2023 event of 100 Women Who Care Boston was a great success. Over 80 women donated as part of the event with approximately 50 members joining the event in person despite the weather. In total $8,200 was raised from the February event.
At the February event members nominated, discussed and selected Catie’s Closet to receive the collective group donation of $8,200 – all within 90 minutes! Catie’s Closet improves school attendance and graduation rates, as well as the mental, emotional, and physical health of students facing poverty, homelessness, and other crises by providing free, in-school access to clothing and basic necessities and uniting with community partners to meet students’ other immediate needs. A big thank you to member Virginia Fresne for introducing us to this wonderful charity!
